What Causes Throbbing Pain In The Knee After A Total Knee Replacement Surgery?
I had a total left knee replacement three weeks ago. I continue to have throbbing and on and off burning discomfort. I am mobile with a Kane and notice when I attempt to walk normally bending my knee, my knee occasionally clicks . Are my symptoms normal?
As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
