Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms pain in the area of extraction if there has been injury with opposites teeth can be due to injury and not clot dislodgement..
You can take
Ibuprofen for pain relief..
In case if the pain does not subside or if the pain progressively increase then there is a possibility of clot dislodgement and
dry socket format which is a painful condition leading to unhealed and inflamed socket..
You can just wait and watch for 2 days and in case there is no relief or even if the symptoms exaggerate in these two days, consult your
dentist and get evaluated..
If there is dry socket formation the dentist will irrigate the socket with
hydrogen peroxide, betadine and saline solutions and then put a dressing of
Zinc oxide eugenol which has sedative action and healing properties and will relieve pain and initiate healing...
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
