Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain as your tooth is painful which is recently capped and on trimming it off, the pressure has reduced, it is an indication that the crown/cap has high points and it is leading to premature contacts with opposing jaw tooth and it is leading to pain on biting..
But the pain will not immediately subside as the area below the root tips might be getting continuously injured..
One more reason that can be a cause of such pain can be due to nerve exposure caused due to over trimming of the tooth for preparing it for placing the cap..
In case if the pain does not subside in another one week, you should
consult a Dentist and get an
x ray of the tooth done..
If the nerve is exposed you will have to get the crown removed and the tooth has to be treated with
root canal treatment followed by replacing of the crown..
As of now you can take
Ibuprofen to reduce pain and inflammation..
Avoid chewing from painful side..
Take a
soft diet..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
