What Causes Throbbing Sensation In The Lower Abdomen Post Cancer Treatment?

my mother in law, 74, had colon cancer radiation chemo. for the last year or more she has been getting a pulse like throb in her right lower abdomen that actually takes her breath away and the pulse never has gone away, it drives her crazy and she is wearing thin of the constant pulse feeling. pain goes down her right leg as well, any ideas?

Hello,
This is not normal and could be the result of scarring or other causes. She would need an abdominal and pelvic CT scan with contrast to determine the cause.
