What Causes Thumb And Wrist Tendonitis After Taking Levaquin?
Hi, I took Levaquin starting March 13 2015 and by April 28, 2015 I had to have a pacemaker put in for irregular heart beat and slow heartbeat. I also have taken Leviquin before, approx 1/12 to 2 years ago and developed tendinitis in thumbs and wrist. Are these related to the Leviquin? I have read it causes tendon issues and heart rhythm.

Suggestive of levaquin induced side effects.Although rare, however levaquin can cause inflammation or swelling of the tendon (tendinitis), tendon rupture, arthropathy (inflammation of the joints), and arrhythmia (fast and irregular heart beats) in some individuals.
