What Causes Tickling Sensation In Lungs And Cough Despite Taking Augmentin?

Hello. I have been sick for about a month and have developed a tickling feeling in my lungs along with a very annoying cough that won t stop. Sometimes I cough until I throw up because I can t stop. I have been on two rounds of augmentin. It s not helping though. Any ideas on what this could be?

Hi.Can understand your concern. As per your query about tickling sensation in lungs and persistent cough which is not responding to augmentin ...it can be due to bronchitis or lungs get involved in tuberculosis as it is from along time of about two month you should get a sputum culture and chest x ray to rule out tuberculosis and treat it accordingly.I hope the information helps you.You are welcome on HCM to have any further query.Take Care.
