What Causes Tight Sensation In The Throat After Smoking Marijuana?

Hello I smoked marijuana at 7am this morning going beyond my limit and had a panic attack. I feel calm.now but my throat is tight and i was wondering if i have to worry about death or anything now thats its been so long and what is the tightness in the throat from? It comes and goes

Hi,

You may have an attack of bronchospasm or panic attack due to the drug.

Also, smoking Marijuana gives you a sore throat it may be one reason.

Use water gargling and water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days.

Take bronchodilators in case of bronchospasm and anxiolytic medication if you experience panic attacks.

Please consult your physician immediately, he will examine for the cause and treat you accordingly.
