General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Excess tiredness, chest discomfort and neck, jaw tightening may be of concern post stent placement in diabetic patient. The issue can be pertaining to Carotid blockage or other vascular issues which need immediate attention. A minority of cases do suffer such issues from the side effect of anti platelet and lipid lowering agents as well. Kindly ask the doc on duty at cardio-thoaracic surgeon chamber who performed the stenting procedure to get perfect guidelines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
