What Causes Tightness And Contraction In Stomach?

Hello
my stomach has been feeling very tight for the last week or so. It was extremely bad today. There is no pain and I'm still reagluy to the toilet. It also feels like a very mild contaction where I what to push but still there is no pain. Just a very heavy stomach.

Hi

You may having severe gastritis and do not worry and just follow as mentioned below

- Avoid spicy food
- Avoid Alcohol
-Avoid Cafeeine and its products
-Consume plenty of green leafy vegetables
-Consume plenty of fruits especially rich in fibre like Banana..
-Do not go to bed just after the dinner or lunch, space the meals and your bed time atleast by one and half hour
-Have a normal walk for fifteen minutes after the meal which will help in digestion and helpful in gastric emptying
-Do regular exercise for atleast 45 minutes daily
-Meditation as per your age(eg if your 45 then do 45 mins of meditation) - which will relieve stress and reduce gastritis

If I were your treating doctor would have prescibed T-Ranitidine 150 mg twice daily before food for two weeks
