What Causes Tightness And Pain In Heel Despite Having Normal X-ray?

I have been having pain in front of my heel on outside of the foot for a few weeks and it is getting worse. Had an X ray at rural clinic and doc says no stress fracture, probably inflamed joint. I can feel the skin tightening and internal movement inside my foot when I walk on my toes, as if my cuboid is dropping down with each step? I have almost no pain if I walk on my toes or the very rear part of the heel of my foot, but walking normally causes severe pain. Using my hand to manipulate that area hurts a little but does not reproduce the same level of pain as normal walking. I don t have any bruising. What s going on?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, some kind of arthritis changes may be very likely some time this could be aggravated with emotional stress, the best option to get rid of this is NSAID (Non Steroid Anti-inflammatory Drugs) and best would be "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" once in day, hope this information helps, take care.
