Hello,

I had a surgery on right side of face to remove the paratoid gland this was several years ago. I am now haivng tightness and weeping on that side of my face .Also on a regular basis that side of my face becomes a bit puffy again no pain or discomfort. There is no pain just weeping discharge whenever I chew.

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that there is flaring up of infection at the site of surgery and do to infection there is wheeping or discharge..
Puffiness or swelling is also signs of infection..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Surgeon or an ENT Surgeon and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics for resolving the symptoms..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
