What Causes Tightness Around Chest Post Appendectomy?

Hello I just had an appendectomy yesterday and I am home the next day resting. I have tightness in the area of my chest that feels like my heart. Every time I exhale it feels as tho my heart is tightening. Even when I m not exhaling it still feels as though it is kind of being squeezed. I have had feelings like this numerous times before my appendectomy. What could this be?

HI
Well come to HCM
Certain nonspecific symptoms may be possible in post surgical phase and these could be self limiting may not need any specific treatment, here also your tightness feeling could be due to some nonspecific reason and this is nothing to worry, just be patience this would be fine soon if this is not associated with any other symptoms, if symptoms persist then you need to see the doctor, hope this information helps, take care.
