Good day Doctor. After 2 years after my triple bypass I am still experiencing a tight chest, i have palpitations and shortness of breath and cannot sleep due to the fact that I can hear my heart beating. The chest pains are not sore but very uncomfortable. When sleeping i can only sleep on my right side, when sleeping on the left side I experience a shortness of breath. General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The symptoms indicate that your heart may not be functioning as it should, you may have some degree of heart failure.

You may need to consider a review by your cardiologist, an echo and stress test may be need to assess function.

Additional medication may be needed to optimize heart function.

I hope this helps
