Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tightness In Rib-cage, Tingling Feeling In Hands And Feet?
What causes the hands and feet to have tingly feelings when you are sleeping at night as though there has possibly been a loss of blood circulation. There is also pain under the right side of the rib cage and a tightness in the rib cage. These symptoms are only present at night when I am in bed.
It seems related to arthrosis or possible carpal tunnel syndrome. However, if I was your caring doctor, would recommend a series of tests to determine the right diagnosis: - Doppler ultrasound of blood vessels of the hands and arm - X-ray examination of the hands - Diabetes testing - Complete blood count and biochemistry study After analyzing the results, we can decide for best treatment strategy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
