What Causes Tightness In The Chest And Pain In The Shoulder Blades?
I am a 39 year old female. I have had tightness in the chest for the last month and last week I started to get pain in my left shoulder blades and neck. It is very tender to the touch. Now I have a very sore lymph node in both armpits and on the left side of my neck and I am tender on both sides of my shoulder blades . I did have XRAYs and blood tests done last week but have not heard any results. The soreness of the lymph nodes came after I saw the doctor and I will not be able to get another appointment until a month from now. Should I be concerned and try to go into emergency for immediate treatment?

You need to be concerned and treatment should be started as early as possible. Before moving ahead we'll need the diagnosis. Do you have fever, loss of appetite, loss of weight, breast lump, cough or any other symptoms. Besides the test you mentioned, you'll probably need CT, fnac of lymph nodes depending upon the test results and examination finding.
