What Causes Tightness In The Chest With Breathing Difficulty?

I was at my childrens school and I suddenly felt a tightening in my chest and an inability to breathe. It only last about 10 seconds. It was followed by a racing heart. I have had panic attacks before, this was different. I felt as though I could not breathe. No pain, just like a ringing, like I wasnt there. I walked home and sat down for a while. I took a magnesum and drank orange juice. I feel fine now, but I am terrified it will happen again. It was not a panic attack. Very different

Hello
I would suggest you to go for consultation with any good cardiologist. You may also be required some diagnostic test like TMT and colour Doppler based on which diagnosis is prepared and treatment can be initiated.
Without proper diagnostic finding it is not easy to diagnose the disease accurately.

Avoid heavy physical work and weight carry, mental strain, oily diet.

advice proper rest

Hope this is clear to you
In case of any query feel free to ask

Thanks
