Hello,

Tightness in the stomach may be due to colitis with spasms or altered bowel movements or guarding during underlying cause or due to irritable bowel syndrome.

Avoid caffeinated drinks, use a soft diet. If symptoms not improved you may use smooth muscle relaxant like Buscopan tablet twice a day for five days.

Get it done ultrasound abdomen, stool examination. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
