I am 52/f. I have severe pvd, high b/p controlled with medication. I have this tightness/burning in front of throat, about where collar bones meet. Usually on exertion, but not all the time. It goes into my left chest and arm. It is like sucking in cold air. I had a heart cath and all is fine. I do not have symptoms of heart burn or GERD because it has nothing to do with food and I do not feel anykind of reflux. I have had thyroid inflammation before, but on last bld work all was normal. Any ideas?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that this is vey atypical type of complaint and in my opinion just one test need to be done and that is tread mill test, to rule out the cardiac disease, because you have this problem at the time of exertion, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
