What Causes Tightness In The Throat With Difficulty While Swallowing?
For the last two or three days, I have had a tightness in my throat, and kind of like flu like body aches, but no fever. A little hard to swallow but nothing major. Also, my knees are swollen a bit. The worst thing which has gotten worse during this same time period is my arms go numb frequently. Like that are falling a sleep esp when I am in bed. It is starting to worry me.

Throat pain difficulty in swallowing, Body and knee pain. Mostly due to some bacterial or viral infections causes Pharyngitis or tonsillitis and other symptoms pain and joint pain.
Take Tab. Ranitidine 150 mg bid before food, Tab. Azithrocin 500 mg od, Tab.Combiflam 1 bid for 3 days. In the meantime do an investigation: CBC/ESR/Throat swab culture and sensitivity. Review with reports.
