What Causes Tightness Sensation In The Chest Area?
My husband has 4 arteries that 70 % blockage nd will have one surgically corrected in 3 weeks. He has doesn t feel well, gets tightness inhis chest for 5 to 10 seconds, breaks out in a sweat and then it is over. Should we contact our doctor about this?

Tightness in the chest area and sweating can be problem in heart. As your history already suggests problems in heart. The present complaint takes us me to a point where I can say your husband is suffering from :angina pectoris. Therefore I suggest and advise you to see a cardiologist as soon as possible to solve any emergency that can arise in future.
