I sometimes have a tingling sensation in by lower leg, just above my angles. It usually comes on when sitting. It doesn t seem as noticeable when standing or walking. Hven t really nboticed any thing else unusual. I do have high blood pressure, for which I take 25 mg tablets of Losartan/Hetz once a day. I was concerned that this could be related to diabetes?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
These symptoms are indicating circulatory problems in legs which are common in thisage and there may be present atherosclerosis that obstructs blood vessels and causes pain and blisters to form. You should do Doppler ultrasound of the leg or CT angiography to rule out such obstructive changes and then it can be treated properly by medications or by surgical and radiological procedures. ALso, you should have Aspirine 100mg and have elastic stockings applied, and should avoid cold environment and long walks. In most cases it can be managed with medications but sometimes surgery may be required in severe cases. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
