What Causes Tingling All Over The Body After Taking Venlafaxine?

Venaflaxine, since before October last year I have been complaining to my doctor of side effects. I was on 300mg daily. I complained again 2 weeks ago and he said stop taking venaflaxine and mirtazapine (45mg) Of course I am getting withdrawal effects. My main side effects/withdrawal are pins and needles in hands and feet, tingling all over my body, joint pain, head pains, rash on my elbows, and urinating far to much but painful. All requests regarding my health fall on deaf ears. I can barely walk or hold a cup. Are all these symptoms normal when coming off venaflaxine and mirtazapine. There was no gradual decrease of medication, just told to stop, I have never felt so ill in my life, and of course, there is nothing controlling my mental health now.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is not related to Venlafaxine.

If symptoms persists better to consult a doctor If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated to rule out possible neuropathic causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
