Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
good morning, my symptoms are tingling on back of scalp, mid back to back of knees. It is more like tingling, slight burning or sensitivity. No need to scratch but rubbing helps. no signs of any skin imitations, dryness, redness or rash. It has been going on for 2 weeks thought of possible allergic reaction but came up with nothing. no change in diet or medication
It needs to be correlated clinically that why these labs were advised though HDL is good cholesterol which should be above 40 but in his case it's too low. Triglycerides which are bad are higher than usual so this picture needs management with cholesterol lowering drugs like statins etc. Similarly the potassium is on higher side though not dangerously high but cause of hyperkalemia in his case needs to be evaluated.
Wishing him a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
