What Causes Tingling And Numbness Feeling After Having Incision To Lower Arm?

well i went to the doctor to get my implanon out two days ago. he could not find it so he put stitches in and said he would try again next week. since i got back from the spot he dit the incision to my lower arm is tingly and has a numb feelin when u touch it. is that normal?

Hello,

As these feelings are common of tingling and numbness post the closure of the incision and there is no nerve damage done while doing the procedure.

Stay relaxed and get the implant removed by the next visit.

After implant removal, do simple exercise for regaining the muscle strength to normal levels.
