What Causes Tingling And Numbness In Hands After Having Carpal Tunnel Surgery Previously?

I am a 49 y/o female in good health. I have been having issues with my arms and shoulders going to sleep when i am sleeping to the point it wakes me up. I had carpal tunnel surgery several years ago and my symptoms still persist with my hands tingling and aching. What else could be causing this

It could be due to compression of nerve in your cervical spine. Get your cervical spine MRI done to know the exact cause.
