What Causes Tingling And Pricking Sensation Around The Spine, Shoulders, Back And Neck?
My son is calling me from the Appalchian trail and is having problems with tingling and pinpricks sensations around his spine, on shoulders, mid back, neck. He s been hiking from Maine and is now in New York City and has been on the trail since June. His pack is about 35 pounds. He s not sure if this is a sign of something ore serious. Any thoughts?

I really appreciate your concern, what the symptoms are given here are suggestive of spinal degenerative disease and for that it is better to get done the MRI, with clinical information, here very little information is given and for other and it makes lot of difference when patient it self described it hope this information helps.
