What Causes Tingling Brown Spots On The Wrist?

Hi, my husband from one day to another brown spots almost leopard looking started to appear On the side of his left wrist and hand and he described a tingling feeling from hand to his top shoulder...what could be the cause of this? Should we be alarmed, should he see a doctor as soon as possible???

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that this could be hypersensitivity reaction and in my opinion this condition need to be treated with antihistamine is the best way, if the condition does not improved then consultation with dermatologist is must, have a great day.
