Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pins and needles along with itchiness can be due to deficiency of vitamin B12 and / or folic acid. I suggest you to get blood levels of vitamin B12 and folic acid. In case there is vitamin B12 and folic acid deficiency, supplements of vitamin B12 and folic acid can be started.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
