General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
The tingling numbness your finger/ whole hand seems to be due to pressure on your nerve supplying the area being pressed/ irritated by Implanon & it is not normal.
In case you are using Implanon from quite a time, had no symptoms all these days- & the problem arized suddenly-- I suspect displacement of the devise. You should visit your doctor for examinning site of insertion followed by needful intervension.
Thanks
