What Causes Tingling In Hands After Experiencing Electric Shock During Pregnancy?

Dear doctor,
i am 03months pregnant and today while opening my steel gate i got electric shock of 220 volts on my hands for around 10 seconds.
i went to ER and got the heart beat checked of my baby which was fine. movements are also normal.

Skin of my hands was not broken but there is tingling in my hands.
kindly advice what are the risks?

Do not worry so much.

Generally shocks in homes are not so dangerous.
And as you told that heart beat of your baby was fine. So there is nothing to concern.

But remember next time that,

Try wearing some rubber slipper (or any insulating material under the feet) when dealing with anything electrical.

Stay healthy and take care.
