What Causes Tingling In Left Hand After Trying To Take Blood?

I went to give blood two days ago. I usually give blood out of my right arm because the vein is very visible but this time they tried to get blood out of my left arm but were unsuccessful. Now for the past two days my left arm tingles, especially in my hand. Is this normal?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, it is possible that the needle might have traversed near or pinched the nerve going to the hand and therefore this tingling. Dont worry, it should go away in a few days. Such nerve injuries are temporary and usually require no treatment. Take care, Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
