What Causes Tingling In My Left Leg?

A vein in one leg jumps, I feel it and see it, now and then. This has been happening for about 10 years. Not a problem really------------------- Starting two days ago the same leg (left) feels like it is asleep and is tingling. It feels fine when I walk or sleep but tingles steady at all other times..
