What Causes Tingling In The Shoulders And Numbness Behind The Head?
My son was complaining of tingling in the top of his shoulders and numbness on the back of his head. So he went to the hospital and they said he had a Thalamic stroke on Friday. Now he is back there saying he can not stay alert and running a low grade fever. Is there anything you can tell me about this?

It is uncommon today get stroke at young age. So in my opinion, you should definitely look at for second opinion. Get done MRI brain with perfusion study to confirm whether this is stroke or not.
