What Causes Tingling Like Sensation On The Scalp?

I have tingling sensation going across the left half of my scalp and down my neck. When I scratch my cheeks, there is a slight numb feeling on the left cheek compared to the right cheek. It feels like a "drawing" sensation to left arm and hand but I still have good use of it because I am typing this question. 38 y/o F

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . The symptom of tingling can occur due sensory nerve disturbance , damage , injury or some underlying medical conditions . The medical conditions that can cause this type of symptoms are diabetic neuropathy hyperthyroidism , anxiety or multiple sclerosis . Physical injury to area can also cause tingling sensation.

Treatment will be based upon the causative factor . I would suggest you to consult doctor /neurosurgeon for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may order blood test along with some other tests and treat it accordingly.
