What Causes Tingling Sensation And Mild Numbness In Arms?

Hi, I am a 34yr old female relatively healthy. Since Sunday (3 days now) both my arms have been experiencing slight numbness and tingling. It comes and goes. The first day it was the whole arm, bouncing between arms. Since then the numbness seems to take turns between arms. My bicep feels heavy at times, like I ve been lifting but I haven t. Some pain/discomfort and tingling is mostly from my elbow down to my fingers now. As of today 4/13/16 I ve just experienced a bout w/nausea & sinus/allergy like headache. I don t have a temperature. No jaw pain, no shortness of breath. Please advise. thank you!

hi
thanks for posting in HCM
I have understood your concern

most probable reason for your parasthetic symptoms are involvement of nerves of cervical region , causes are
1.cervical spondylosis
2.disc herniation

I can suggest you to get done

1. x ray. cervical spine AP and Lateral view
if nothing evident from that
2.MRI spine

meanwhile you can take
1.tab.neurobion forte once a day
2.tab.pregaba 75 mg at night

hope this helps you
any further questions please let me know
thanks
