Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Hands?
I m having tingling and numbness in my hands. Mostly my left hand but sometimes my right. been having this for several months, but now getting more frequent. My body is really achy too. could be arthritis idk. even the bottoms of my feet ache. Achy body more in the last year.
Hello I have read through your question and here is my opinion about the same. Since you also have bodyache I would suggest you to undergo a a complete blood profile including E.S.R. Also an RA Factor test will be helpful. Regarding the tingling sensation in hands I would suggest you to get an X Raycervical spine to as this may happen in cervical spondylosis. Are you taking any calcium supplements? If no then it would be beneficial to take them as osteoporosis is quite common at your age. I would suggest you to discuss that with your physician. I hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions please feel free to write.
