What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness Of Scalp?

Hello, I'm concerned because my scalp occasionally goes numb (primarily when I'm laying on my back). For the last two days, the right side of my head has gone in waves of dull pain. Not like a headache though. It's like a tingly pain. It is sensitive to the touch. I noticed it initially when I tried to lay my head on the floor (also laying on my back). I haven't really noticed any other symptoms and I am under quite a bit of stress right now- we're moving and just got a puppy. But since it's my head I'm just really concerned. I did have a minor head injury 3 years ago, but it didn't involve the back or right side of my head.
