What Causes Tingling Sensation And Numbness On The Left Cheek?

I am a healthy 45 year old woman. I experienced intense pins and needles in my left cheek over 20seconds and then numbness followed by the same experience in only the left side of my tongue. All symptoms resolved within an hour. My BP rose during the experience from my normal 105/60 to 158/90. I attended ED and the stroke protocol was activated CT scan brain NAD. As my symptoms have resolved I ve been discharged but I m still concerned regarding what might have caused it. Any ideas?
