Hi,
I read your problem, tingling and numbness sensation are mostly due to nerve compression but other many causes also like
peripheral neuropathy,
cervical spinal stenosis,
dislocated shoulder, sitting and standing in the same position for a long, herniated disk, nerve injury, lack of blood supply on that area, deficiency of vit B12, methylcobalamine, calcium potassium or sodium. Also nerve damage,
carpel tunnel syndrome, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, hypothyroidism, seizures, and stroke.
Narrowing of blood vessel, a nerve compression or nerve injury of cervical region cause numbness and
tingling sensation of arm or hand and due to the lumbar region nerve compression leads numbness and tingling of lower extremities. To rule out the reason behind it get some investigation like some blood test includes: CBC, TFT, electrolyte level, vitamin levels, C-RP, CT scan of the spine, MRI of head, and x-ray.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ankur
