What Causes Tingling Sensation And Pain In The Neck And Back?

Was diagnosed with nerve damage following cervical epidural. Left side neck, upper back, lower back, shoulder, and face drawing, tingling and stinging. Had acdf surgery at c5-6 to relieve pressure on spinal cord. One year later still having same symptoms. Now they are saying autoimmune syndrome. How can they change diagnoses?

It might be due to neuropathic causes following the surgery.
