What Causes Tingling Sensation In Clitoris And Pressure On Vagina?
The past couple days i have felt pressure to my vagina and a urge to push also a tingling sensation on my citrus. I have changed birth control could this be the reason? Could it be a UTI or could this be an early sine of pregnancy? I have had two kids and i have had these symptoms with one of my pregnancy.
Tingling or pressure sensation on the clitoris, vagina or vulval region can occur due to minor infection, around the time of ovulation or during pregnancy. Any history of excess or foul smelling vaginal discharge can indicate infections.A vaginal smear can help in diagnosis. Pregnancy should also be ruled out with a urine test if there is a positive history of intercourse in the last 2 weeks.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
