Please write your question herefor past week i get a tingling sensation under left side of chest top of rib cage. no pain just tingles 5 to 10 seconds then stops. happens more often when walking not at rest. I m a 33 yr old male. no drinking or drugging. work out about twice a week. what could be the cause?
Hi,Dear, thanks for your query to Health Care Magic. In my opinion tingling which recurrs off ,under left of chest-top of rib cage without any supporting specific causative history in you-could be -?upcoming shingles?or old or chronic viral infection causing neural irritation/? or could be due to the ntrapment of intercostal nerves on walking with robust muscles as you dowork out ?Could be due to-viral-plueritis? or could be-epigastric hernia-popingout while talking and pressing on intercostal-nerves underneath rib cage on left side-which is more prone to compression due to the gas in stomach acting with gas in the colon, thus compressing the intercostal nerves on left more side, than on the right side where the liver volume protects the nerves.Hope this would clarify the worry you had for the tingling undre left rib cage.Would love to Wellcome your queries to HCM.
