What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Scalp, Runny Nose And Nausea?

I awoke this am feeling a slight dizziness/tingling in my head. Had to blow my nose often, as I was slightly congested and runny. Felt like allergies/sinuses. Now, 7 hours later, stuffiness/runnyness is gone, but my head and chest (all the way across) still feel slightly tingly and I m slightly nauseous.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The nausea and tingling scalp indicate systemic presentation of underlying sinus infection, inflammation via respiratory tract infection. My guidelines at present:
- More liquids intake to maintain hydration
- Avoid exposure to pollen, atmospheric cold
- Deep breathing exercises
- Inhalation of vapors of boiled water with blanket over head
- Decongestant and analgesic medications
- Omeprazole or other PPI help to control nausea

One time measurement of vitals with your primary care to rule out any systemic disturbances.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
