Hello,
Tingling sensation in the left side is indicative of developing neuropathy. It can also be suggestive of CAD, coronary artery disease. You are suggested to give him adequate fluids and water so that he is not dehydrated.
Dehydration and
hypoglycemia triggers
dizziness and light headedness. He should not skip meals and take food in time. His blood pressure and sodium-potassium level should be normal. Maintain a daily chart and note the vitals.
He is suggested to get a routine cardiac check up done. He should get blood tests, CBC,
urinalysis, blood glucose (R / PP),
echocardiography, EKG, stress tests, X-ray, etc., done. If required he will be referred to a
Neurologist to get NCV test and required imaging tests done. His treatment will depend on the pathology detected. In the meantime, he should take home made balanced food rich in vitamin B6, B12, healthy protein and minerals.
He should maintain healthy weight, do regular walking. He should avoid taking oily, spicy food, trans fat, full fat dairy products, red meat, packaged and processed food. He should stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
