Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
3 weeks ago I had surgery to repair a capsular detachment of my lateral meniscus. I have made great progress with now minimal swelling, good circulation and movement. Just recently, though, I have began to feel a tingling sensation in only my big toe. What is causing this and should I be concerned? Thanks
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your I came to know that you are having tingling sensation in your great toe. You also got lateral meniscus capsular repair 3 weeks ago. I think tingling sensation is not related to capsular repair. Its cause can be any lumbar spine affection such as disc prolapse and lumbar spondylitis. It can be confirmed by MRI of lumbar spine. Second common cause you should look for diabetic neuropathy. You should get your fasting blood sugar for it. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
