What you have mentioned are the typical symptoms of meniere's disease. It begins as vertigo and then fluctuating
hearing loss and tinnitus.
Please remove the misconception from your mind that meniere's doesnt have a treatment.
As you say that its in initial stages by now, so lets try to manage it with medical therapy first.
first i would say that you get the Electrocochleography and audiogram done again to check if its really meniere's.
If these investigations are done then i would suggest you to avoid coffee, nicotine and have a low salt diet.
Next,
Betahistine (Vertin) is a good medical therapy for meniere's.
To relieve
dizziness (vertigo) i say you need to take
promethazine /
cinnarizine. They have sedative properties.
I believe these measures would help you.
please consult if these symptoms donot resolve even after these medications.
We would then think of surgical management.
