What Causes Tinnitus And Vertigo?

I ve had a ringing in my ears (primarily the left) for some time now. Recently I ve noticed a stiffness or tightness in my lower jaw and the back of my neck. I just assumed it was stress from my job, but now I m not so sure. I haven t experienced any noticeable hearing loss, or headaches, etc. As a side note, for years whenever I tilt my head back to look up (at birds, clouds, or other interesting things above the norm!), I frequently feel dizzy and disoriented.

Hi,

As you feel tinnitus and pain, it may be due to some ear infection which can be cured with antibiotics.

But as you told that you experience disoriented during uplifting head, it suggests a hole in your ear drum. So pressure between outside and inside ear not maintained properly which leads to symptoms.

If possible get checked by near doctor specialist. Avoid water to go inside ear during bathing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
