What Causes Tinnitus, Headache, Pain In Ear And Neck?

I went to my chiropractor for severe neck pain and headaches along with an onset of Tinnitus. He adjusted my neck and regained mobility and less pain. I requested an x-ray. We saw what he described as calcium in the the vertebral artery and recommended an ultrasound, I see my general doctor on the 29th of September-is that too long wait ? . My ongoing symptoms are the tinnitus, ear aches and lower neck headaches. Could the white calcium we saw in the x-ray be an infection ?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Deposition of calcium in vertebral artery can lead to narrowing of the artery and decreased blood supply to the brain.
Decreased blood supply can lead to hypoxia and ischemia in the brain tissue.
This may be responsible for severe neck pain and headache.
Tinnitus is caused by lesions in the inner ear.
Thus, a clinical assessment of inner ear is required to find out the cause of tinnitus.
White calcium is not a feature of infection.
Deposition of calcium is an age related phenomenon and the deposition increases as age advances.
