What Causes Tiny Black Spot On Right Tonsil?

hello..I have suddenly noticed a tiny black spot on my right tonsil, this is pricking me whenever I m gulping somethingI I have never seen a black spot on my tonsil before and it does not look like a dried blood either.. does it need immediate attention pls advise

see a black spot on tonsil may be because of some reasons like a sore throat, a foreign body, some small tumors etc....
if you have associated fever, difficulty in swallowing etc it points to sore throat....difficulty or irritation in swallowing can be with foreign body also....

it is better to visit an ENT specialist, get it properly checked and then only a definite diagnosis can be made....
