What Causes Tiny Blisters Around The Gum After Tooth Extraction?
Hi there, I had 2 of my top and 1 of my bottom wisdom teeth removed last thursday (today is tuesday) and I've just noticed 2 teeth up from the wisdom tooth on the bottom side, Ive started to get tiny blisters around the gum of that tooth. All of my teeth feel sensitive around there - just like 'bruised', but i wanted to know if blisters are normal after the trauma? thanks!
As per your complain it seems that the blisters over the gums next to wisdom tooth can be due to infection in gums leading to gum boils..
Secondly it can also be due to Viral infection.. Other common cause can be Canker Sores or Apthous Ulcers...
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Oral swab culture can be done for diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can apply desensitizing toothpaste over the sensitive teeth, leave for a while and brush your teeth with it.. Do warm saline gargles.. Avoid eating very hot or very cool foods..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
